Exterior modifications: Evo 2 front spoiler, Euro grilles, Smoked Ecodes with 4100k xenon retrofit, smoked turn signals, Evo hood seals, VIS CF hood, ACS mirrors, all red tails
Interior modifications: Recaro SRDs, rear seats recovered in Avus fabric to match, Schroth Rallye belts, Momo wheel and shift knob, recovered parcel shelf in ultrasuede.
Story behind the car: I bought the car in August of 2002 with the intention of having a fun weekend car for the track. I never wanted to go to a full race setup with it, just something I could have as much fun driving to the track as on it. I have been systematically going through the car replacing the wear items, stopping short of the motor internals. The wear items that could be upgraded to ones that can handle a "track duty" level have been while keeping it still streetable.
Spring time projects are to finish up the rear suspension bushing replacement and then figure out what I want to do for a brake upgrade. I think that should keep me busy into the next track season!
