Spruced up the 85's interior :)

I've been daily driving my 85 E30 (w/2.5 and some mods) for over 3 years now. The cloth non sport seats I have had in the car were really taking a turn for the worse. The driver seat was torn, side covers missing, both seats had trouble reclining, sliding, and flipping forward. My buddy Dave (karzrtoyz) is converting his 325iS to black interior so I took this opportunity to spruce up my little DD E30 a bit!

The carpet is the original tan carpet from 85. I did some searching on the forums and saw people were having luck with Duplicolor paint. I went ahead and bought 4 cans of charcoal gray and we went to town! I'm very happy with the outcome! I still need to get the front speakers back in there with some late model covers. We also painted the rear deck to match!

I know there's a lot of people who aren't fans of the gray but I LOVE my new interior. I feel like I'm driving a totally different car. Dave rebuilt both of the front seats and they work perfectly and feel great. Please don't criticize my floormats, lol.

Here she is... I love this fuckin car!

Nice, how many air-fresheners do you need?

Glad you guys like my shifter. I love it! ;) It's on a Z4 3.0 lever so the throw is pretty short.

The muffler itself is actually a no name muffler I bought off ebay for my first E30 about 7 years ago. The front section of the exhaust is from an i with a Supersprint center section and then Y to single 2.5 to the muffler.
