Nice find, with a little love this will be one sweet car. As or suspension, you can't go wrong with the good ol' H&R Sport and Billstein Sport combo.
Oh, and the M-Tech Wheel could very well be stock; my dad's '89 came frome the factory with one...

Thanks, as far as suspension goes I just want to drop her a little. I'm afraid of tearing up my oil pan. The M-tech wheel was an addition by me last week

Don't know what I want to do with the suspension, but I know I need to do something she's got over 182k miles now.

I'm located 25 min West of OC, You been there?
I bought my 1991 318is from OC. That was back when I lived in Baltimore.

If you don't want to drop it too much, I highly recommend H&R Race springs and Bilstien Sport shocks. And make sure you upgrade your rear shock mounts, the stock ones will blow out right away with any sort of stiffened suspension, if they haven't already.

Here is my car w/ H&R Race and Billy Sports.

hot. best combo 91 318is DS

I had one back in the day but the clearcoat was trashed. keep that waxed and/or garaged whenever you can.

looks better with the other wheels IMO

Thanks I like the color also...I Know, I like the stock rims but they're 14" and I wanted a bigger rim :p besides these wheels are easier to keep clean in the winter

Wheels look good, but would look much better with a drop. I too would reccommend the H&R/Billy-sport combo; I'm running H&R Sports and Billies, and love 'em on my daily driver.
As for spacers, what's the ET on the Borbets?

to be honest, i never liked the look of these borbets...well at least on volvos (which really all i've seen them on). however, on your car they look amazing.

Thanks for the good words, I know I have to drop her down that's coming next. The et is 35 on these wheels

10mm is conservative...15mm if you're feeling a bit extreme. I'm more on the conservative side when it comes to spacing.

Not gonna lie, but the 14'' weaves looks immensely better than the Borbets.

You cleaned her up real nice, keepin' it REAL classy.
