Well Heres another personal update, sorry it's taking so long to actually get an update regarding the actual car. Well I finally got the debit card set up a paypal and ebay account and now that cash is coming my way i'll have something every weekend again. I'm debating whether to go with ellipsoids or with Hella 5 3/4 H1/H4 replacements. Also coming soon is a IS rear spoiler and an Mtech1 wheel. I'm trying to find a 370mm instead of the 380mm but I guess that will do. -
As soon as my debit card comes in the mail and I get together a pay pal account, new ellipsoids and vogtland springs with kyb shocks are in order ;)Leave a comment:

Well this week I got nothing done at all, I took a trip with the family to belleayre ski resort, stayed there for 3 days and went skiing with the bro and my father. Now it's time to invest in a new suspension and ellipsoids, will have more updates next week ;)Leave a comment:

A very good attitude will definately go a long way, and now that youre working, you will appreciate everything a little more. Keep it up.Leave a comment:

I honestly rather buy my own stuff, Makes me feel much better, all my friends laugh and stuff since there spoiled. But I just turn around and say that you guys take the bus to school. I'll be the one laughing when they need a ride somewhere ;)Great thread, keep up the good work! Its funny, but when I was in HS I bought a nearly identical car to yours (86 325eta, 2 door and 5 spd though) and was able to pay for everything myself as well. All your hard work will pay off, and in the end you'll have a car you appreciate 100x more than the kids who are just given their cars.
I still own mine, 8 years later, and I still love it.Leave a comment:

Thanks guys for the support, heres another little update, the east coast is getting hit pretty hard with snow as we speak, it started at about 11 last night and got about 6 inches of snow as of now, we are supposed to get hit even harder in about an hour
. 18 inches of snow.
So it was time to take pics of the car sitting in the snow haha.

The snow didn't even start yet yesterday, I'm sitting in auto class and the principal comes on the loud speaker telling us school is cancelled, so today was a decent snow day. I haven't been able to work on the car as much because I finally got a job so I can maintain this car and i work all weekend. It's pretty tiring but to me it's 100% worth it.

So here's a little update, the car is finally sitting in my driveway, I have decided to take it easy and first take care of more of the preventative maintenance. I never really finished the tuneup fully just replaced the plugs and wires, The car needs new pads and I have no idea when the timing belt was done nor do I know about the water pump. So if you guy's didn't know I am 16 and just this weekend I'm starting to work so I can afford all that I need for the car
Feels good man. This week I have put the whole dashboard back together, replaced the sway bar links and bushings and the light bar for the OBC finally came in. More updates on Sunday.

So today I didn't get too much work done because my dads shop was busy and he was busy working on the Sequoia putting in hearest monitors and I was helping with the install. So I got the new hazard light switch, The old one was faulty and only worked when it wanted to.

And the new ipod adapter came in the mail. Got a little nervous cause I connected it and it wasn't working, So I got all frustrated and somehow it just decided to work.

So now I have my own music in my own car
So the funniest thing happened afterward. Some lady came to tank up her honda Accord at the station. When she was pulling away one of her exhaust tips just fell off.
So my dad being the genius attaches it to my car

It doesn't look half bad at certain angles but I am DEFINITELY not keeping it.
Then I decided to just take some random pictures of the car since I wasn't doing anything anyways.

Also I'll post up a soundclip later today.Leave a comment:

Bumper tuck this sunday, 5 speed swap as soon as I get the money, and same goes for the 2.7i. How much do you want for the vogtland springs? I'm debating on whether to leave the stock bottle caps and just repaint them. I did so with the spare. I already have 205/65/14's on the rims. My car really needs a drop to look much better, that and the bumper tuck. I really need to replace my muffler because this one is some cheap OEM knockoff. And I really don't have too much money to be spending on upgrades.tuck the bumpers...ditch the fogs, convert to a getrag 5speed, slam it..then a 2.7i stroker plus boost! sounds like a good order of events for the car.
btw you commented on my youtube video...and it is straightpipe to a thrush glasspack, like 25inches. that was only temp. due to the fact they burn out quickly. i then just put on a stock oem replacement walker muffler from wallmart and a nice 3in. tip tucked up to the bumper...sounded good. no drone, nice a deep
however i had the car lowered on some vogtland springs and modified hats...and well after around 60k miles on that setup i finally smashed the pan. so the car sits now at my shop while i show my fc3s some lovin! so if you need some vogtland springs ill make you a hell of a deal. i had 195/60/14's flush almost tuckin in the front, and the 205/65/14's fit nicely in the rear. good stanceLeave a comment:
