    Temporary car...635 CSi

While my car was in the shop for some routine maintenance I got to tool around in this thing for my birthday weekend.

Its a 635 CSi owned by David Toy of "Autoy" in Rockville, a reputable shop that races 2002's and the like. It has a few goodies, like an Alpina B9 clutch, M6 LSD and some aftermarket suspension that kept this thing very well planted, I've never been in a car that handled better. And what an sound from the inline 6!

Enough chat...I'll let the pictures do the talking.

The car needs some work...like most E24's do, but its still for sale in case anyone is interested. The last guy who was planning to buy it backed out. This is my dad's daily driver at the moment, trying to convince him to keep it!
    Reminiscing...

May I interest you in a glass model of this car?

The hood release cable is on the far left, kinda tucked under the underdash panel.

          Use it, take piktarz, post.

+1. From the looks if it, it could be M88/3 goodness!

Sadly I am back in Frederick and the car is in my hometown. There was some speculation over if it was indeed an M88 or not, apparently the engine may have been replaced at one point or another. How would one verify that it is an M88?

Haha! The original Alpine headunit was removed so I was blasting 1984's "Kool & The Gang - Emergency" on tape to have some period correct music! Good times.

6 throttle bodies and "M-Power" Valve cover would dictate it. Was this car FS recently in the DC area? I remember an M635csi FS with an M30 swapped in...
