    Ducati Monster

    So at the end of 2007 I got the motorcycle bug and with a new job I bought my first bike in January '08. A brand new 2008 Ducati Monster 695. The very last 695 they were going to get until switching to the 696. Black tank/bodywork with a bright red frame. Mid '08 I got into waxing it and cleaning it often and fell IN LOVE. Whole pics of the bike later tonight BUT, I got a brand new tank from Ducati in October '09 and the bike has been sitting in the garage since then. Tonight I picked up some 3m rubbing compound, Mother's clay bar, and Zymol wax and went to town. I got almost all of the orange peel out (I'm doing this all by hand) and it is fucking sexy. Glossy, smooth, sex. Here is a pic of the tank I took with my shitty camera a couple minutes ago!

                              Dude I really want to buy a Ducati. Ive always wanted one, but was never inspired enough to take it serious until now. one of these days.....

                                                  This thread depresses me. On the one hand, your bike is sick and awesome. On the other hand, I get reminded that me + bike = organ donor. So conflicted.
