Do yourself a favor and buy LT Snyder's book on Desmodue engines. You can adjust the valves yourself and you do not have to pull the heads to do it. I did them on my '06 S2R 1000 with no problems and anticipate doing them on my Multistrada in a another 2 K miles. Enjoy your Duc!

I have had the valves adjusted once at the local Duc dealer whom I'm good friends with. He gave me a smokin deal and didn't want to dealve into that adjustment on my own since the valves also shut with rocker arms instead of springs. You also have to take out/replace shims to adjust them which can make it a pita so if I can save myself the trouble for $90 I'll do it :) And no removal of the head is correct. You can do them on the bike with zero problems.
