All you need now is a new steering wheel, those 4 spoke wheels are hideous

You could have just fixed the seat back, but I guess this works. lol.

Fake leather is where it's at!

Yeah... pleather is the way to go me thinks. Old, cracked, hardass leather kinda sucks.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the good press. I've considered an EVO III wheel, but it's tough for me to lose that airbag. Even if it's a crappy Gen 1 airbag that will either refuse to fire, or burn/hurt me more than help in a collision, I'm too hot off the accident that totaled my M3 to want to change it out. Right now I require the peace of mind that airbag provides, even if I'm fooling myself.

As far as the vinyl interior v. leather, well, my "new" interior was removed from a 100,000 mile 318is. I couldn't believe that the seats had 50,000 miles on them, let alone double that figure. My old leather had a bout 20,000 more miles on them when I got the car, and their condition was horrible by comparison.

                Old:

I was ultimately able to recondition them to look a lot better with a good leather care product that contained black dye, but even then the new look is far better preserved.

The floor mats are Weather-Tec mats that I recycled from an old 04 Z4 we used to own - They were laying around the garage so I decided to use them for the winter instead of trashing out good mats. They had to be cut at the top to fit, but actually look OK as this is impossible to see.

For some reason people have PM'd me asking for better pics of the shift knob:

                Forgive the winter filthiness.

Do you have the interior for sale?
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
