Sunroof windshield? Opinions!

So I got this windshield for the sunroof when I bought the car but I didn't bother to mount it until now... not sure if I like it.
Also pics of an ebay shift-boot I just got, really satisfied with the quality of it considering the price (around $10).

Oh and is this rare? I haven't seen one of these anywhere!


Polished it up a little, it was all scratched up before.

I'm leaning towards getting rid of it, car looks cleaner without it. But I'd like to hear other opinions as well.

Haha, I'm glad to see a lot of hate, it kinda feels misplaced or too small, but it is a original bmw part.
Though I can see why I don't see it a lot.
Thankfully it's real easy to remove ^^

I polished it just for fun/training and to test out some compounds on it.

Paint there is already marked up from the previous owners having it mounted.
Maybe should have painted the roof as well when I resprayed my car..., but it's not that bad now after some hits with the polisher.

Some of the later European models were "edition" models and came with colour matching interior, touring side skirts and special clothing. I don't see why they didn't put sport seats in it though =/
