    Hey guys, new member here.

    Hey guys my names Stefen.

I've bought myself a 1986 325i for my first car and i thought i'd post some pics up to show you it ;)

    Hennarod? i believe?

It's been lowered around 30mm by the previous owner.

its an automatic, which i hopefully will convert to 5 speed pretty soon.

I'm planning on putting some Borbet type a's on it and an AC Shnitzer kit on it. ( I've already got the rear lip )

    anyway see ya around. :)

Nice henna. That car has major potential. Did the rest of the world not get stuck with the ETA motors or something?

Nice, Henna and 4 doors really work well together.

                  Thanks for welcoming me.

No it doesnt have a sunroof.

And also.. is it normal that when the car has been parked for a while it leaks a couple of drops of oil.. I dont know where from though..

                    Another Aussie to welcome :)

Car looks fresh and clean - how many kilometres has she done? Another vote for MTech1 kit (with Brock B1s FTW)!

Oil could be leaking from a few common places. Firstly, I'd try to work out where it is leaking from (under the cabin, or the front of the engine bay, or off to one side, etc). From there, next time you're parked and BEFORE you move the car, open the bonnet or get on the ground and see if you can see any oil stains on the motor. Most common leaks from on E30s are steering racks, power steer pumps and around the sump.

                      Yeahhh cheers.

Shes done 176,580, which is around 6600 a year! haha.

Umm yeah im pretty sure its coming from the sump. It's nothing to worry about right?

Ive heard MTech1 kits are fairly hard to get, so I'm not to sure what to get.

Around a week ago I bought an AC Shnitzer rear apron for it and I'm gonna get it freshly resprayed and bolted on.

I'm also thinking of getting some of those ESM Borbet type A replicas from ebay. Anyone have them or have heard of them?

Really depends on how big the leak it - just drops, or puddles? Just keep an eye on your oil if it's a few drops. If its puddles, you wanna fix that shit!

Just keep an eye out in FS threads on here, or on eBay in Oz and stuff comes up. Just gotta be patient.

i'm not a fan of those ESM wheels, but plenty of people on here seem to love 'em

No puddles. Just a few drops.

The other day i got quoted $1000 for a full manual swap, with a second hand clutch kit. and extra $450 for a brand new clutch kit. Does it seem like a reasonable price?

                            Euroweaves are another option.
