This has the Auto trans but you can shift it manually.

Definition of Manual transmission: How many pedals does it have?

I don't care if you can shift your auto manually, it's an auto.

            /rant. sorry.

We have an x3 3.0i. Love it. Drove the x5 3.0i before. Man that thing sucked gas, and wasn't powerful at all. 3 Liters is NOT enough to haul that much truck around. Totally my opinion.

the truck needs a v8, I like it but the engine wasn't meant for a truck.

yeah, it is alot of weight for the 3.0 to move, but that said, it is still way more powerful than my E30, I would've rather had the 4.4 but the 3.0 will do. and probably get better millage then the V8, but probably not much better.

V8 actually averages better gas mileage on real terms.

I like those, but I'd choose an e39 touring before that body style x5.

I just drove 2010 x5 with 3.0L sport package, nice truck but slow as shit, typical suburban wife's vehicle, although it's much better then any other SUV in it's class, except for the Audi Q7

I agree....I have an 06 Touareg. We test drove all the BMW, Audi, and Porsche platforms and decided on the VW. The Q7 we wanted wasnt available. But in the end, all the parts are the same anyways....lol.
