It's not an E30... It's more like something you'd see behind your E30.

Love and Hate'em. But how's that remotely legal? Most places that resell em have to remove all police type items so you don't do the impersonation of officer thing.
Need to add the optional Recaro then it's great for cranking out highway miles at 19 over the limit.

HOLY SHIT!! You should have stopped by my house on the way back Matt. Had a shitload of beer on hand too.
Im pretty surprised they let you buy it like that. I work up the street from a body shop that "decommissions" those things. They strip off all the stickers, the lights (except the spot) the sirens, the pusher bar, & gadgets out then sell 'em.
Nice score.

I was shocked at how little the Crown Vic has moved on since the '50s Fords. I'm not saying our RWD sedans are all M5/E63-eaters, but they're fucking awesome compared to the Crown Vic or even the Charger/Challenger

Nice buy! I've kinda had a soft spot for owning an ex-police car. But I prefer a Charger.
This guy lives near my neighborhood and he's got CVPI too, check out his car: http://www.mcsmk8.com/02CV/02CV.HTM

there's a bunch of 5spd converted ones running around , i've been kicking the idea of an older one that can rallycross/autocross/highway bruise . i want the 88-91 body style though. the p72 came with a nice lil 351W.... these are really comfortable to drive too, i used to service a taxi company's fleet and the drive in an "oldschool" style american sedan feels really safe, we actually own two of the 83-91 body style ones in mexico and we drive them on rural (off-road) roads all the time, they're like big trucks you wouldn't mind taking on a long road trip.project: Low Buck Bavarian: spent so far $1,215
