Can't go wrong with bronze (looks great with black). The contrast is too much with white wheels IMO, and I'm sure you wouldn't have fun cleaning them every few days either.Leave a comment:

I got rid of the grids because they were too big to run proper sized tires.
So I'm going to refinish my Type-A's instead. What color should I paint them? I was thinking Bronze or maybe whiteLeave a comment:

Doesn't look bad, still liked the C1s and meaty tires better though.
Glad the M50's working out, get some S50 cams in there!Leave a comment:

The old wheels were crack repaired and were "safe" but they had a slight vibration and so I never fully trusted them.Leave a comment:

I agree about the stretch (too much.) Tires were close to free so I threw them on to see what they looked like. I don't think I can pull it off without more low, spacers and crazy fender roll/pull.
The main reason for 17's in the first place was because of the abundance of tires for 17" wheels. I think I may just go back down to a 15". Much lighter and good cheap tires as well.Leave a comment:

Old was SO much better (car looked perfect IMO). Not digging the excess stretch or the new wheels :(Leave a comment:

Thanks dudes.
This is with 5mm spacers front and back. I plan on getting my fenders rolled and slightly pulled, 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear and hopefully coilovers. The IE3 springs are too soft to be any lower.
I may also get a wider tire (currently 205/40.) I hear the federal 595's run quite a bit wider than most tires.Leave a comment:

absolutely LOVE the new wheels. You're doing it right. Just roll your fenders and go a little bit lower to pull that stretch off.Leave a comment:
