    My First BMW =)

Not only my first BMW, but my first German car period. I picked this up about 2 weeks ago...174,400 on the clock...i've already driven it 500 miles. Pretty decent condition...has a ding on the front passenger fender. Only one out of the 4 speakers worked. Rear brakes were shot...but no big deal...all fixed now.

    So far i got...

-UUC CCR (Cheap Chinese Rotors haha) with Hawk Cermaic Pads in the rear...I just need to change the fronts.
    -Alpine CDA-117 Headunit
    -Alpine Type-S 5.25 2-ways all around

Recently installed NGK plugs based on the recommendations of some forum members that i was reading. Gotta do some other maintenance stuff to it since it's gonna be my DD....i think it needs new rear wheel bearings, two injectors need new seals and they're ever so slightly leaking, camshaft and crankshaft seals are needed...anyways...

I was looking for a daily driver so I would stop putting the miles on my newer car. I wanted something fun and i've been a Honda boy at heart. But i needed something with more excitement, something easier to maintain and not as costly. Also I didn't need another car payment...one more than enough...

^^^^Thanks to the forum i finally figured out the wiring mess...i'm used to easier things where i can just use a harness...:o

My E30 sitting next to my IS F =)

I got a huge list of things i want to do to this car....but a lot of it is going to be just maintenance stuff for now....thinking about some 16" Konig Supermesh wheels in gold, and probably an H&R Cup Kit for suspension...of course replace all the damn bushings all over...haha. Definitely going to be a project car....

there are actually 2 mufflers with 4 tips behind it...but they're not connected...just for looks.....i've heard everything under the sun about them...i didn't like them at first but it grew on me...the car is amazing... I would have gotten a M3 but they wanted about $10,000 more plus gas guzzler tax and maintenance is crazy expensive.

Nice e30. Im Suprised to see someone else that wants to put konigs on their e30. Ive got 16x7 Konig twilites on my e30. There are a few disadvantages to konigs though- you need custom spacers, hub rings, and tuner bolts.
        heres a pic...

got a full picture of how it looks? i was thinking about those too...i was looking into konigs just because my Honda background...haha...i don't know what are popular wheels that people put on an E30...plus i don't want something crazy expensive. I had Volk Racing Wheels before and i hit a pot hole and bent two of them...$3000 down the drain.

Konigs are very rare for e30's. I've never seen another e30 with konigs. BBS is popular (but really expensive), ESM makes affordable replicas, Kopi Alpina replicas look really nice too. Just browse this site, and youll see what is considered tasteful. Welcome to r3v!

I have konig Imagines on my e30, but they are only 15x7. No spacers and they are the right bolt pattern (they don't have 8 holes) and they use stock lugs. You can buy them from ireland engineering. 16s are so much better though haha

                            pics or it didn't happen...lmao....

So about the steering wheel...i just need the momo hub and then i can pick whatever wheel right? I like some of the momo's but they're expensive. I've never purchased a steering wheel before, are there any out there in the 100-175 range that's good that people have? I need a new shift knob too because it comes off during shifting...lmao

Pics of the IS F...surprisingly, the IS F is my newest car...yet i don't have a lot of pics of it...i have tons of pics of my other cars i've had previously.

some pics of my previous car...

I really miss it sometimes....one of my best projects IMO....

                            And the IS F.... =)

<3 My IS F....it costs me a a huge payment every month...but it's worth every penny. Maybe when i'm done paying for it i'll pick up a used E92 M3 or something. We'll see how things go...a long term goal i made was to have a 911 GT3 when i turn 30...
