          Yeah give the dealership the vin and they can search it in their database.

              About the recall, all you have to do is call the dealership, give them your vin # and ask if there are any recalls left to do. There are several recalls out there, just depends which ones are left for your car. They will not have the parts in stock... Car is too old.. so you will have to leave the car there for few days or so.

                Actually the dealerships like to do recall work. We send out recall letters to people in hopes of them coming and then seeing the new model--(and pos. buy one). When the facelift of the e60/61 came out I did SO damn many e34 ingition switches it was crazy!

                and contrary to popular belief- dealers like and want to do recall/ warranty work-- they get paid from BMW direct then- its not like they are working for free.

                BTW-- the pic looks really cool!
