                                Yeah. Was it a Meyle strut mount?

                                They have an annoying tendency to just fall out. You can usually just jack the car up, squeeze some red loctite on the stud's splines, and pull it back up through the strut tower. After that, just gingerly tighten the nut holding the loctited stud in place.
