Are those D2 coilovers a quality setup, or are they just cheap-o's? Opinions from more than Ary would be good. ;)

They are a great setup for the price.. everything is included and at the price i sell the d2 its not worth buying just springs and shocks. It would cost to about the same and with the d2 you get more for the money.... Also 36 way dampner and rebound adjustable monotube full coilover system. The setup has seperate height and preload adjustments allowing for optimal adjustment and allowing full strut travel at all times along with pillowball upper mounts or top mounts. Mounts are constructed of 6061 powder coated aluminum. Threads are teflon coated to prevent rust. Rebuildable and serviceable in the US.

FOR THE PRICE AND QUALITY THIS STUFF IS GREAT ;)

what I am talking about are the stock strut tubes/integrated hub assemblys. Do they have to be cut and re-welded shorter, or does this D2 system slide right into stock un-molested shock tubes and sit flush?

Im curious about the flares and how the rears fit on a car w/out sideskirts. Have any closeup pics of the install? How much trimming it took to fit them?

                          The car looks great.

Thanks:) Please look at the old post I made about the car a few weeks ago all the body work pixs were posted there. These flares are made to work with no body kit or side skirts.... I modified my sisdes so the will "flow" better with the flares.

Always with the nit-picking. I think it's a fucking awesome looking car, and a 4D. Jealous mother fuckers.

If I were you, I wouldn't have stopped at the old suspension... especially a hood with that fitment
