Type A's finished, Tech I spoiler and a few new shots

These all look like I'm recycling the same photo's. I'll snag my buddies Nikon D70 and do a proper shoot in the future hopefully.

I'll toss a few more up once I get long enough lugs to bump the front A's out a bit more (16mm)...

    Need a part? PM me.

Thanks ;) I enjoy the crap out of them. I actually partially lied in the title. The rear's still need to be refinished, but I'm reticent to put bottle caps in the rear for the week or so it'll take me to refinish 'em!

That, Luke, is an excellent question. I have longer bolts coming, but would love to invest in a stud kit. 16 MM is a pretty big spacer. I'll ask Rob for more specifics on the "safety" of longer lugs with a spacer that thick. I know I have varied sizes of lugs floating around the garage, but all of them (even fairly large ones) are still too short. I'll see what Rob sends me...

Type A's used to intrigue me. Then I finally pulled the trigger on these and haven't been disappointed since. Every now and again I play with the idea of selling them and trying to get something a bit more mesh style, but I don't think I could actually do it ;)

Previous owner had it done full black. I'd love to change that out, but it's going to have to wait for me to fix a rust through in the trunk (drivers side where the factory jack sat) and have it re-sprayed. The paint's good looking for now. I'll end up fixing the rust areas (treated and stopped, but still an issue), some body work to make it 100% (door dings) and then take it to Maaco and have them shoot some paint.

Short of the IS side skirts and front valance/lip, when I bought the car it had all white painted trim JUST like that ;)

I do believe it is. See, this car when I bought it had one on it (e28 M-Tech I) and he took it off to lower the price and popped on the original "IS" spoiler. So the trunk lid (I thought) was pre-drilled for it. But the PO was a tool bag full of stupid and didn't drill correctly. So as of right now it's on there but slight to far to the pass. side.

My thoughts exactly. I bought this one off "Mossman" and he spray bombed it with Alpine of some sort (or just white, who knows) so it doesn't match exactly. But the paint on the car also might not be Alpine II as it's been re-sprayed (poorly by the PO). I'm playing with the idea of spray bombing the whole thing black as my wife thinks it'll look a bit better than slightly off color to the car.

you should try some of those drop hats on the front. Might minimize the rake look cause of the lower rear arches.
