small updates.

since my last picture thread, i have done the following:
-brembo blanks.
-axxis ultimates.
-ate blue.
-stainless brake lines.
-control arms.
-tie rods.
-urethane CAB's.
-US ellipsoids.
-DDM 55w 4500k HID's.
-magnaflow 14816.

and i just put the thule bigmouth mount on the rack. the fairing is kind of in the way of the strap, so its right at the end, but it feels solid. i think i might go for a quick bike ride. :)
oh, and i ran it through the $3 car wash the other day. 3rd wash in 1.5 years.

-new bumper
-fogs
-splitter
-OEM mudflaps (all 4)
-urethane TAB's, diff mount, subframe bushings.
-brand new chrome windshield/rear window trim.
-etc, etc.

i want to do bilsteins and cosmos next, but i think im gonna put tires on the red car and replace the PS pump first.

I'd advise on staying clear of the cosmos. They are pretty crappy. This is from first hand experience.

oh shit, i almost forgot. brand new clutch, master cylinder and slave installed, too.

i just need this thing dumped for cheap. i wish there was an option between billy sports / cosmo, and GC's. you know, like there is for every other car.

There is the cosmos are that, and they are shit just like all the 300-400 dollar coilovers you see for jdm cars, or vw's.

im thinking more in the $7-800 range. but i honestly don't care TOO much about performance. anything is better than old bilsteins, original springs/bushings and oversized snow tires.

ummm maybe you should drive a car with racelands before you start calling them shit. They don't last as long as GCs, but hell you can replace them 3 or 4 times before you get near the cost of the GCs. And they may not be as great a coil, but again, for 1/4th the cost....

I don't care what you say but 4 shocks and coilovers for less than 500 bucks are pieces of shit you pretty much explained that in your post. If you want to go any lower than say an inch below stock height with those awesome racelands it's gunna start feeling like your on cut springs and blown shocks. They were actually selling those piles of shits for 300 dollars. THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS. I spent that much on my cabs almost. I am sorry but 4 shocks and springs for 300 dollars is just bogus.

cosmos are $200, and billy sports are $400. unless you're talking about something else.

i just want to do it for cheap. prob do sportmax 002's because they're super effing cheap too. believe me, i have spent money on stuff, but i'm a full time student paying for school. as much as i want konis/GC's and some type A's, i can't spend the cash. my other car is on stance GR+ pro's with a wilwood BBK and work vsxx wheels. believe me, i don't need a lecture on buying quality parts.

harry potter, why are you now saying cosmos are shit when I found a previous post of yours stating in your words exactly: "You can pick up a set of cosmo coilovers for 200 dollars. I have them on my car and they are fantastic. Adjustable and high spring rates that don't break the bank." ????? just curious?
