So, this is an elaborate thread about picking up an average joe, mildly modded, $3000ish 325is?

This isn't the "shit on other people's cars section" Looks like a nice car to me. I'd rock it, especially liking the no spoiler look I wanna do that to my car as soon as I can afford to do a quality paintjob.

I also have a 1989 alpine white 325is.

It would be kinda cool to have another alpineweib II trunk and get an mtech1 spoiler bolted to it.
If i don't like it no big deal and could swap back my original trunk

But I do like the uncluttered look.

your build thread is what i wish i had the time for with my Alpine E30 i just picked up as well. with my work schedule i just dont have time to do what i want to do with it yet. i think i need a vacation....

Ya its hard to find time.
What I did is I started doing all the work and left the car in the garage and I would daily drive my 325e
I work full time and go to school full time so its pretty tough to find time.
I bought the car 12/23/2009 and I have put it in near a 90 hours of work so far.

yep just save up and do it right the first time.
and if you can strip as many things off your car before giving it to the paint shop to spray.
