    $800.00 4 Door!

Something I picked up for a steal. With the exception of the gas pedal feeling a bit stiff it's mechanically sound. Very strong engine. The shift linkage is a bit sloppy, but honestly I've yet to encounter a stock shifter that didn't feel a bit loose... it's been in a slight traffic accident. Someone rear ended the previous, previous owner and he bumped into the car in front of him at a red light. Nothing serious, but I'm skeptical that the tail light area will ever be 100% again without splicing in a "new" ass-end. Not super noticable, but definately there.

Don't suppose coupe and four door e30 fenders are inter-changable?

    Here's the pictures:

Fender damage wasn't originally this bad but the guy I bought it from regularly transported someone so he beat the crap out of the misaligned fender...

The interior is mint. Comfort seats, but mint...

Plans are a very mild drop. This is mostly to haul around the munchkin without breaking my back getting him and his car seat in and out. Not to mention my wife will be able to drive it with a tad less... "worry" ;)

That and I can start working more in depth on the little m42. Turbo anyone?

Thanks, Luke! That it is. I've been keeping an eye on it for awhile now. He started at $2,200 and over the past month or so has dropped considerably. He only advertised the front fender damage. I got him down from $1,000 which after driving it already considered a good deal.

Man.. Great find! I'm starting to feel ripped off... I just paid $1800 for a 4 door 325i. I should have held out.

4 door fenders and 2 door are exactly the same.

A turbo setup will cost around 4k easy. Borla exhaust, headers, chip and a LSD would makes worlds for you.

I figure I'll do the junk yard turbo setup for the panda M42. I love driving it as is (3.73, JimC chip, etc...) but now that I've got another car for the wife to drive I can finally get into another "project". Since the paint on the Alpine II looks GREAT but is already starting to crap out due to a shotty paint job by the PO, I'll fix all the door dings, prep and swing it by a reputable Maaco and have them Satin drab olive green it ;)

Yeah, when I was looking at it he got a call from 2 other south end guys wanting to drive up and check it out. I snagged it pretty quick. I'm actually surprised he went down on the price at all, considering he had other potential buyers lined up.

Thanks :) Toting a car seat with my abnormally large 6 month old in and out of a lowered 2 door was getting old real fast. I thought I was cool enough to pull off the 2 door + kid. Turns out you just look retarded trying to navigate it...

That's what I'm sayin'. I figure I'll stay mild on most mods. Drop my spare M-Tech I steering wheel on it, snag another lighted shift knob for the wifey and a very mild drop. Still in the air with the lip. Rieger or IS?

That's great news for me. I have a bit of Shwarz paint in the garage from my buddies touch up's and a fender that's 100% straight and pre-rolled ;)

I'm a DIY'er but I think this is beyond my "skill". Most I've pulled out was dents, dings and a few creases from the parts car in the garage. I'll have to get a quote to see how much it'll run me... anyone have a good body shop in the greater Pugent Sound area they'd recommend?

                          Ouch.

Sadly I over-paid for my panda-mobile ('91 318is). Looks nice and solid, but it had a heap of mechanical issues from (I shit you not) 60 miles into my ownership. Luckily, it was fairly cheap to fix the pasta under the intake and cured all of its overheating/coolant loss issues. Then the blower motor crapped out. Then I discovered the rust the PO swore wasn't there ;) My fault ultimately, but 'eh... you live and learn!

Acually, it wasn't that bad since 18is's are listed for 9k now, 20is's are even expensier, although i already spent 2k in mechanical stuff on mine, but at least it was loaded and has only 80k miles and no rust
