    318/6

My roommate got a pretty nice camera so we snapped a couple pics in the parking lot.

    If you've never seen it,
    standard beat-bodied 318is
    lots of abuse, 265,000 miles
    rattle-canned Borbets
but it's fast as hell!

My dad painted one of his first cars with a paint brush and a can of house paint. He said it didn't look bad if you were standing 50 feet away, I guess the idea of 'do what you can to make it look good but put the money in the machinery' has rubbed off on me.

Honestly it looks as if you did a fine job on the wheels. Can you tell they're rattle-canned in the flesh?

Because you know what's under there, Dan. Do you need to see it to believe it? ;)

Thanks dudes, I appreciate the compliments. It sits funny because it has undersized tires 205/50/15 and my really heavy toolbox in the trunk. The tire normally doesn't tuck in the rear. I'd like to say that 225/50/15 Yoko's will be going on soon, but the financial situation doesn't agree. By summer for sure, though. I'd like to pickup those 8mm spacers from Robert (RWH), what do you guys think about a non-hubcentric 8mm?

Look at the rear quarterpanel (drivers side) in the above pics.....above the VANOS sticker, you'll see where the body is tweaked a little bit from poor body repair. It's gotten worse over the past year, maybe from the added torque load the engine produces...maybe from those stiff ass Ground Controls?

Been thinking about changing the smoked front indicators back to the stock (they actually don't indicate anything, all my bumper lights don't work for some reason). What do you guys think, smoked or orange? I don't have the cool smoked taillights anymore and I think you have to go all or nothin' on something like that...so I may ditch them for stock.
