I'm poor and have 2 e30's.. wait, technically 3. Wait, no, 3 1/2. Half my car is in my buddies.
Get this... I still haven't paid over 10 grand into all 3 1/2 or the 5 I've owned.
Nothing wrong with new cars. I've been tempted in the past simply so I don't have to think about it as much, but like you said, I guess I'm just too poor.Need a part? PM me.

If that's the case, I'm sure there are a few people willing to wish ECU gremlins on ya, or even letting the dreaded smoke out of your harness in some hard to reach corner. Or fuel pump cavitation, or...
Nevermind, it's already bad enough you two are now running Nissan engines.Comment

Bah, I'd have gone with the 370 at least. :p The VQ is a great motor, but the VQ-VHR is better. 35DE, revup or HR?
Comparing an E30 to a Z33 is stupid. The Z is the better, low maintenance car, the E30 has more soul and breaks a bunch. Both are fun in their own ways.Last edited by Wh33lhop; 04-02-2010, 12:34 PM.paint sucksComment

Massive Street kit (new, never used or installed), JL Audio XR components for the doors, SSR Type Cs. Those are the big things. May have a few little others laying around.
Maybe I'll buy it back from him in a few years!
I've been driving old and/or beat up cars for most of life. Decided it was time to get myself something a little nicer. And I've always been a huge Nissan Z car fan.
Nope, leaving it stock.........most likely.
Apparently 18x9.5" + 275/40/18 + Hotchkis sways = 1+gs on the skipad. Pretty fucking incredible.
No, I had one. Drove it, dyno'd it, parted it, sold it.
Only 28.
IDK how you guys are saying you would rather drive an E30 over a 350z...
New Japanese sorts car > 25 year old German econo-box...
Even the nicest E30 in the universe is still shitty compared to a newer car like that...
Daily driving an E30 is for kids... It's nice to have a nice car. E30 makes a fun thrasher...
Then commence shit talking.
Eat a horse shit covered dick, but he has a point. Most of the members of this site can't even afford to put tires on their cars.
E30s are great, love them, fun to drive, easy to work on etc. I'm just over daily driving one.Last edited by z31maniac; 04-02-2010, 02:27 PM.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Still doesnt mean they do anything for me. I have no idea what a sorts car is but ive driven several newer sports cars and i like the light tossability of the e30. Maybe the Z has that, but its not for me.Comment
