You asked for our opinions and we gave them. I don't like the mirrors either.
A boxy car with boxy mirrors looks right, a boxy car with rounded mirrors and nothing else doesn't look right. Most of those pics you posted are of comprehensively modified and in doing so they tie all the mods together as a package. I can appreciate the work put into some of those cars and while aggressive many look good on an individual basis.
Merely throwing different mirrors and some skirts on a car just doesn't tie things together enough to work. But that's my opinion.
You also have to realize that for some reason, in general this forum tends to favor the OEM+++ look, even amongst the many non-US members. So the reactions you recieved are far from shocking...

Because you have the US style bumpers, and you are suffering about that.
You don't even have M-tech 1, M-tech 2. Frome the moment you guys mount euro bumpers on the car, you consider it "modified". But in Europe, or Romania, already have them, so a clean E30 here starts from m-tech 1,2, maybe de front iS lipp, and other thing.

They just said that the mirrors look like penis heads. So where is the problem? Yes its a public forum so if you post pics you are open for comments. Maybe the way they said that those mirrors are ugly are different to other boards ;)

Those mirrors dont look good on the E30... this is the opinion of most of us. Most of the other cars he posted look very good. So it doesnt depends on where are you from. There are ugly cars in Germany, USA, Finnland (but then they have a turbocharged engine :mrgreen: ), too.

All in all its a matter of taste.
