And believe me, in real life, it sits lower.
And about the mirrors, everyone have different tastes. The owner of the car likes it.
So you don't have to be rude and call them penis head, it seems that the E46 M3 and the E39 M5 has penis head instead of door mirrors.

those mirrors look good on the cars that they are supposed to be on
rounder shapes, flowing lines etc.

they just look out of place on an E30 that's all
