That's the first time I've ever heard of brake pads refered to as a cosmetic element.

Racing Dynamics. That's pretty much everything that's on the car now.

Dude, I'll bet big money that by next year they're gonna come out with chrome-backed brake pads with little chrome pinwheel spinners where they stick out of the caliper.

Right now? 90 horses at the crank, after it's all done maybe 175 to the wheels. This time it's getting a little more work done, like a 272 cam. We'll see.

Thanks Chris, actually Werner and I was just talking about that today. I'm leaning towards a Unichip but the problem is finding a local vendor. I'll have time to figure it out. :)

Nice pics. Love the wheel and color combo. So what was your problem with the E30 M3 park brake? I had no trouble hooking up the park brake when I swapped the rear of my car over to E30 M3 5 lug parts.

'proper' rear bumper, and also euro bumper trim, and you will have the hottest car! I love those wheels.

Fred, your car is easily one of the hottest looking E30's I've EVER seen.

And those pics just convinced me to get a Racing Dynamics rear apron.
              hey check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=36475

Brand new, not replica, could go for a good price. I bought my used one off eBay for like 150 bucks, it's going on next week. It wasn't perfect, so I took the whole week fixing up and painting it (as well as my IS sideskirts).

I think I'm gonna take it to a shop and get them to fit everything. Knowing me, if I try to fit them myself, I'd probably put them upside down and inside out.

Thanks, the little bolt/pin (anti-rattle pin, as the EPC calls it) was too short and wouldn't go on properly, so the shoes couldn't be tied down to the hub. Did you have the M3 parking brake assembly as well?

Thanks man, yeah yeah, I know about the rear bumper. ;) Dunno about the Euro trim since I'm actually a fan of sidemakers though.

I had the whole parking brake assembly, and if I remember correctly, those pins were slightly longer on the E30 M3 parking brake. Overall that whole parking brake assembly was a PITA to install correctly.

Big thumbs up on the wheels. Good to see you didn't cover it and let it rot after all the work you put into it before.

Here is a list of California Unichip tuners...........check them out first by sending an email to the main US agent through their website (which is below in red). Perhaps they can refer you to the one with the most experience ;) A proper setup shop will have the Dastek dyno's to install & tune.

Yup, the pin is 33mm versus 28mm. I ordered them yesterday so I should have time to install it over the weekend.

The pedal is very hard compared to before, but I attribute that to the E32 master. I like it a lot, but I think there's a little air in the system still so I'll bleed it again when I put the ebrake back together.

I actually let it rot last summer, not gonna make the same mistake twice. ;)

Cool, thanks Chris! Guess they updated their site, last time I visited it (few months ago) they didn't have anybody in California listed. There used to be a Porsche shop in San Rafael that sold Unichips a few years ago but they aren't listed anymore. I sent a few emails today, I'll let you know how it goes. :)

                                RD as well? :p lol.

how much do the skirts and apron run these days? and are they just bolt on? My rear valence has a slight bend in it from the PO, i think the best way to fix that problem is cover it up with a nice apron.
