Those are the springs I'm saving for. The Vogtlands. Since it's a DD no need in having a suspension that will break my kidneys.

It's about 1.6 inches front and 1.3 rear iirc.

Nice. That's pretty much the same as mine, but my springs aren't new. I'm gonna run it w/o the pads in the rear, and hopefully my e90 drop hats will arrive in the next few days.

this is what it looks like on 55's

and you will definately want to get the drop hats, as well as take out the spring pads and anything else that will get you lower in the front haha

Perfect ride height for a dd. I will probably take out the spring pads, don't know about the drop hats, NY roads are a real killer.

Found some blacked out kidneys, Thought I would give them a try. I like them alot and the only problem I have, is that the trim around it is a bit lighter in color. Would you guys recommend me to plastidip the grills? or just get some trim paint?

Also this is kinda bothering me. In the actual kidney is like a block off plate, like the one on the non a/c models. Would this be a problem? I rarely use A/C anyway, and I am probably going to dump it.

yeah, pretty easy process. krylon works great, so does duplicolor. Did mine a few months ago. works great on trim, as well as grilles.

Alright, works for me, I'll get on it. I don't like how it's all a different color. So their are three different blacks. Should I go with satin or flat?

Did you find bolts in your oil pan? What is the mileage of the car again (don't want to read the whole thread)?

134k miles. I didn't find any bolts, just some that were loose.

satin mayne. I was contemplating doing an M-stripe down, like this Armenian dude with a alpina e30 m3 near my house, but i didn't feel like buying the extra paint. :pimp:
