Thanks, it's looking more and more like how I imagined it.

alternate route? Sucks...but part of being lowered. Atleast throw some zipties on ur lip...so you can keep it.

    Your doing something wrong.

iS lip may bring problems tho, so I'm not knocking your advice...its valid.
Uhhh...no. There's an enevitable, rather large set of cracks on HWY 880 south in Oakland, that I need to take in order to get home from practice. I always slow down, brace for impact. I try hitting it while changing lanes (not straight on) but I get that loud thump, and a few days ago my I lip was dragging on a side when I got home.

i'd definitely prime those areas before you hit em and use something more hardcore than plasti-dip. go to a bodyshop and ask what they use for undercoating, that should do the trick.

also, dude who said he hit his i lip on the highway at that height. yikes. :)
It's actually very durable. People use it on their front lips and it hold up really well. I wouldn't advise him to use the stuff to cover up rust, that never fixes anything. Get rid of the rust then coat it with some primer and repaint.

Yes, on my list of things to do.

He is talking truth. My IS lip already scrapes on some driveways and stuff. Not saying I am low. If I try and avoid touching it then it doesn't scrape anything. the first few days I had the lip was pure hell.

Nope no primer, go to lowes and pick up a can of plasti-dip and just spray it on.
