Finally got my E30!

I am new to the forum and "new" to BMW. I have wanted an e30 for about 10 years, since my buddy bought an '85 trade-in from a Toyota dealer where we worked for $800. I just picked this up a few weeks ago off a guy over at e30tech. '88 seta, ~215k, 5spd. She needs some TLC, but appears to be basically solid. Car came with most of the stuff for the i-swap but I was looking at the head last night and it is definitely cracked so I guess I'll be swapping cams, rockers and valve springs over.

Just home from picking her up...couple hundred pounds of extra parts in the trunk...head, lsd, etc...



Just washed...H&R race and Bilstein Sports.


Skid! Glad this was on the car when I bought it...I used it the other day!


I am so stoked I finally got one. Every time I walk out to the car I smile. :)

This seems to be a common sentiment. I thought it would be lower, too. The rear is really low, but the front is not. The fronts have settled a little since the pics were taken, but not enough to give it a mean look. I am getting used to it, though. I still smile when I look at it. :)
