    Its about that time...

...to get more r3vs and less roof.

Picked up this 88 325i vert today and I love it already. This is such a great improvement over my auto 325e already... even being stock. I love the 5 speed, higher revs, and how much damn much faster it is!

I don't care about the color since I'm going to do an all-over, but the body has just a few minor dings and most imp. NO RUST (besides some small surface spots here and there).
    130k original miles
    5 speed
    us ellips
    sport tan interior
    crack-free dash
odo along with all other lights/ gauges/ sensors working

    Plans are:
General maintenance and the rest you'll have to wait and see ;)
going more low and wide and 3 piece

Now the sad part... I think its time to say goodbye to my eta.

On my way to pick up cash to pay the guy for the vert the head gasket blew (ironic as hell right? Guess she got mad i picked up another hoe)...
But the car was just beat. Lots of rust eating it away, needed all new suspension bits, fuel pump was going up, starter was grinding, power steering grinding/ leaking, tranny was on the frits, wipers didn't work, no high beams, didn't run for shit in the rain, rings are shot and burning a quart of oil every 2 weeks... hahaha and yeah the list goes on.
Yes i kept her lookin sexy but it really was a fuckin head ache most the time, love-hate of course.

I'm thinking just using some parts for my vert and parting out the rest. Its been a fun car the past 2 years but onto the next one :)

I'm not really familiar with verts... what's interchangeable with my eta (and worthwhile swapping)?

Nice buy! If i owned a vert, the first thing to change would be the 3rd brake light tossed in the garbage can.

Thats one of the things I wanted to know if I could use off my eta.

I've never really payed attention to verts before but often see info about different parts not working on either vert/coupe (strut tubes different?).

Actually i never wanted one till i drove greg's (vivalegreg) at the college park meet last sunday... after that I knew I had to have one :)

Nice dude! I've been thinking about trying to pick up a vert for awhile, would be an awesome cruiser. I see an M-tech 2 driving around here, but it's pretty haggard.
