I'm bored and I don't think I have ever started my own thread before so why not now?
I finally got around to having my Ireland Engineering Camber Plates (for stock diameter springs) installed, I knew going into this they are about 10mm taller than the stock strut mount. I am broke so saving my tires (even just the front ones) is important to me and they are installed to correct my front camber. I however want to be lower.
Current suspension setup:
LowTec 60/50 springs
Bilstein sports
IE Front Camber Plates to bring front alignment back into spec.
My question is: if I were to un-mount my strut, slide the spring out and removed one of the dead coils from my front springs, would this throw my fresh alignment off enough to matter? If I were to move the camber plates out just a pinch more to even the camber out, do you think my steering alignment might correct itself?
