    Finally brought one home...

    Well, after owning an E30 as my first car and selling it to buy a MK4 GTI (I know), I've been looking for one ever since. I finally found one last friday and picked it up today. Its a 1991 318is with 149k miles on the body. Engine/trans/driveshaft were removed by the PO. This car will have an S52 in it, hopefully by the end of the year.

    So far I have found no rust, as I think it's been a Florida car its whole life. No accidents and very few dings/dents. I have no money so the process will be slow, but it will be sweet when its done!

    Nice! I'm jealous of the real leather sport seats.. Mine just had the vinyl.

            haha yea I guess it is Rafiki's car... didnt even realize it was his until looking up some of the threads I've already read through.

            yes, they def gutted it. Its alright though, I'm a bmw tech so I've already got a few parts sittting in my toolbox at work...
