    Hi I'm new here

Hi! I'm Alex.. I'm new to r3vlimited, but i'm on the bimmerforums. I recently picked up a 1985 325e. It's my first car and it's pretty fun, great condition. It's got 68310 miles on it. and its a 5speed, which is a must for me.

Basically since i got it i've just been doing maintenance work like belts, radiator hoses, and i want to rebuild the shifter.

Upgrades that are on the car are:
    Bilstein shocks
    TMS chip
    Stainless steel exhaust

It's getting new 17" Beyern mesh wheels saturday, I'm taking the wheels on it now and planning on putting racing tires on them and using them for auto-x. After that we'll see how it looks then i'll probably end up putting H&R's on it to give it a little extra drop

    Anyways here's the car:

Like I said, I plan on rebuilding the entire shift linkage and changing the oil in the transmission. So does anyone know of any good rebuild kits or anything like that? Also is anyone using a DSSR from UUC?

thank you. I'm probably going to end up buying euro bumpers sometime soon, in the meantime i think i'm going to tuck them.
