And if you are worried about bending your rims on roads like that, I would invest in better rims. A set of RK's are pretty light weight, affordable, and sturdy as hell.Maybe if you ran something like that you wouldn't risk killing someone in order to get your jollies off.

Shut the fuck up, seriously. I was hit head-on while riding my ZX-12 by some fucker who thought it was cool to cross over the double yellow in a blind downhill left hand turn. He was a flagrant douchenozzle just like you. He didn't give two shits about anything but himself and had no regard for anyone else on the road.

I ended up with two broken arms, a badly dislocated shoulder, a broken rotator cuff and permanent nerve damage in my left arm because of it. Ask Jonny Hart (e30yrsold) I'm sure he will tell you...he's seen the scars and the results to my left arm.

You need to take responsibility for how you drive on roads like that, because one day you're going to end up creaming someone because you're worried about your precious rimmz. If you don't like me telling you that, you can go fuck yourself.

make me think twice every time i saddle up, i still do it and take all precautions i can, but

This kind of footage is never going to go over well on this forum. I take spirited canyon runs myself, so I'm not going to be a hypocrite here. However, it's safer, more fun, and builds driving skill, when you drive to the limits of the lanes in the road. I NEVER cross the lines, doesn't matter how far ahead I can see, that just leaves one more thing to go wrong on an already dangerous road.

I purposely don't like to drive with more then 2 or 3 people in the canyons, especially if I don't know their driving abilities very well. The more people involved in this kind of drive, the more that can go wrong. Stay safe out there - your rims aren't worth someone else's life. :down:
