I was referring to the subframe and trailing arm bushings.

700 in the front 1000 in the back.

umm. I was running stock suspension for two years until sunday. and The ride quality when Driving straight, doesnt feel bumpy at all. I expected to feel every little rock in the road.

The quality of the suspension now shows me where the real weak ponts are in the car. Sway bars, and especially brakes. The car handles fantastically. But I have to admit, that it is nothing compared to my 2002 still.

Ohh and the MPG gauge was hovering at a solid 41 MPGS the entire way on my 70 Mile trip.

              m42 - fan - pwersteering + chip + COPs - heavy car battery + lowered - side mirrors (unintentional delete.)= MPGS

Did you calculate the MPG? That gauge is pretty worthless.

ahaha. I tend to get really Gung-ho when it comes to my car projects.

Living in DAvis while working on my car an hour away gives me limited time. so Wehn I got it, its been golden time. This is why my 2002 project is slow. I would have teh 2002 project done in a summer week, If I had al my parts lined up.

how much time has gone into working on your car.

most of my time has gone into diagnosing a cold start problem which is like multiple hours... never fixed it.

Right on. I can relate. I get truckin after collecting certain batches of parts - but the time it takes me to accumulate them is agonizing.

Ug. Like on and off for more than six years now. Much of the joy comes with the 'journey' of it I guess.

couldnt agree more. I was stoked to have all the parts lined up and ready to go, doing all of it at once. suspension marathon.

If I did it again, I think I could get it done in under 4 hours.
