S52 block painting...before, during, and after!

    Before:

    During:

    After:

Used duplicolor high heat primer/color/clear. Really impressed with the results, came out way nicer than I thought it would...

Next week, next week haha. I'm not gonna go too crazy with it, just clean up the seam sealer and some minor stuff, since you are too busy to help...

yeah, Im sorry. Wish I could but work sucks. I even changed jobs because it was suppose to only be 40 hour weeks. Wrong, back at 60. :(

Anyways, now you need to mask off the block and paint the aluminum wrinkle finsh black.

Thats cool looking. You should get one of those bmp heat protector inserts for the hood and paint it that color.

This color should be banned from putting it on any part of a car. Killer motor, awful color.

That duplicolor engine paint is awesome stuff but it needs to be heated/baked before it gets durable. It's susceptible to oil/gas until it's baked. It will bake from running the engine once you get it in. If you have a heat gun I suggest heating it now before you put it back in the car.
