    e30 newbism

    Ello everyone,
My name is Scott. I found this e30 covered in black widow webs and dead critters but fell in love with it. It's my first auto ever and it has been a pleasure owning it. I Paid 500 dollars cash and took it to a mechanic and all is well except some minor body work. I found years worth of lube/maintenance records stuffed in every possible cavity. I just spent an hour cleaning the euroweaves with solvent and a tooth brush. It needs a proper wash but Ill do that tomorrow.
My plans are to keep it stock for awhile since I dont have any real income at the moment but hopefully I can at least get it a set of springs and shocks.

      first.

      1) ive never seen a 91 318is auto and from that pic, its a manual car. this leads me to think that you meant to say this is your first manual car.

      2) those are standard is weaves, in 14x6. euro weaves are 15x7, et24.

      3) hell of a steal for 500, welcome.

it is a steal, 500 for a rust free 91 318is should be against the law.

Son of a F***ing Beeotch!! Great find dude! I wish I could stumble across these kinds of deals. I paid $700 for a wrecked 88 325is. Of course it has some great parts and a low mileage rebuilt M20, but still....kudos to you bro. ENJOY!!!!

I thought stock "is" weaves were 6.5 width opposed to weaves that came on an "i" or whatever else being 6.
                    Someone correct me please?

Cool, nice find. I can hear the '318' and the 'is' screaming to be back in each other's arms.
