TSW Hock R's are the first set of rims I ever got for my 325e back in 1997. They served their purpose and looked good. But I dont think they do the ///M3 justice.

Nice car, but what's it with the skittle engine compartement and the mechanical fan?
Never seen an m3 with a mechanical fan

The valve cover and air intake are off an EVO II cecotto M3, they had color matched units. And I see your from europe, all US M3 had mech. fans from the factory.

Clean ride. I love those AW e30's. Unfortunately they are so rare here in europe ...

First off, cool car. Your plans are very similar to what I'd like to do with mine.

Just for clarification, EVOII and Cecotto are two different cars. EVOII had motorsport color painted plenum and VC, Cecotto's had body color painted plenum and VC. It's difficult to tell from the pictures but it doesn't look Misano Red from a Cecotto. Is it possible that the PO painted the the stock VC and plenum red? Either way it looks cool.

No the PO gave me the stock "black" valve cover and intake. I have the M3 "emotions" book and in it says that the cecotto was a limited version of the the EVO II to celebrate the winning of the WTC. There were some differences in the car

"The special Cecotto model featured the same modifications as the Evolution model, but also came with a number of unique features and signed number plate"

I don't have the emotions book but there are some things that are not exactly correct. The EVO II was built from 3/88-5/88 (501 made) and Cecotto/Ravaglia's were built a year later from 4/89-7/89 (505 made). Also EVO II made 220hp with Bosch DME 0261.200.090, where Cecottos made 215hp with DME 0261.200.091. There are a number of other differences as well. I don't doubt that the Cecottos were created as a result of the racing success of the EVOII but were different cars (same exterior body panels though).
