      i think he means your sealed beam headlights.

      as far as i know US projectors only came on 88/89 models, so sealed beams are stock on all 318iS cars.

              Get a mark d chip, maybe a COP conversion if you think your plug wires have had it. Check the mess under the intake for problems and check for loose bolts in your lower oil pan. Then proceed to drive the crap out of it and enjoy it!

              Also, some have mentioned ellipsoid lights. Definitely recommended! They look stock but are way nicer than the sealed beams unless you break em, then they're a bit pricier to replace ;-)
