out with the old, in with the older

updated pics @ bottom of this post

Well I sold my e34 a couple weeks ago due to some personal things happening

Heres what she looked like after I signed the title over

Looks a lot different without the Rondells and the rieger...

Shortly after it sold, I found this car in VA beach and it was too good of a deal to pass up

70k miles, fully reupholstered navy interior, (minus headrests ), minty fresh. Power top is inop :( so the lid doesn't close all the way, and it bothers me a lot...

    Only mods are

    Dinan Chip
    SuperSprint Exhaust
    ZHP shift knob
    Raceland Windblocker
    Super sweet spray painted kidneys

    Inspiration?

    8/20/10

New stuff (somebody stole my camera, iphone shots ftl)

Congrats on the purchase. Thats one ridiculously clean interior.
How do you like the raceland windblocker? I can't decide if I should just suck it up and buy oem.

Well you got alotta win there. Indigo leather rules. Does it have a blue top too? When I got my AWII, the top didnt work but a bit of research and persistance, I got all to sync up and work near perfectly...without spending a dime!

As for a temp fix on the lid, I belive its the relay all the way to the right of the relay board (once removed from trunk) tap it a couple of times (assuming that the arm is still attached) and it should close tight. If the relay aint working, then attach the lid arm, lock the lid motor and hook a battery to it to close shut.

BTW: You had one of the hottest e34s.

thanks man, yeah the raceland windblocker isnt too bad, however it came without instructions and random pieces you had to place together to make it fit right. Overall I am happy about it. What do the OEM ones cost?

Thanks man i appreciate it, yeah it has the blue top. I disconnected the lid arm cause the motor wasnt working, and it was bent so it was rubbing on the top of the convertible top causing wear.

Thanks guys for the comments, hopefully someone will buy my rondells so i can buy some dz1's....
