If 24v is too cookie cutter, put a snail on the m20. Or an m30, more "period correct" and less common.

But really if you dont want your car to be cookie cutter IMO i'd do it with cosmetics or wheels etc, and not the engine bay.

Well there goes my resale value..

But hey, yea, I'm Bryan's friend also.
I'm the one who helped him put in his coils last week.

Which one were you again!? I recognize the car, but not the owner!

And what Stephen is saying is 100% correct man. The s14 isn't going to help you save weight, especially on a vert and it is super expensive (even with dealer hook-ups) to maintain. You are going to be ending up paying more than an S5x swap itself!

As they are saying, you are going to be very very pleased with a 24v swap instead. 1928361 people will tell you again and again.

I think we need to talk in person about some of your ideas.

It's very blue. I think you should look into another engine besides the s14, and s50 or 52 would be better.

As far as the s14 its your car but i think an s14 swapped cabby is going to be alot of time and money for an end result that is going to be a bit lackluster... I love s14s, but they really need to be accompanied with the light and nimble m3
true, but i'm not looking for a super track car just something fun and capable. something i can go to the beach on saturday then thrown down on a track on sunday. besides... I have a real M3 and a turbo Jetta for when i want to get crazy lol, nick will vouch for them. ;)

The S14 shouldn't exist in any non-track specific car. I would do a 24v swap if I were you. You have a cabby, there's no point in trying to save weight or w/e with the the S14. Basically what Stephen said is 100% correct. Find an S50/S52 and you'll be happier.
