Wishno's winter beater version 2

I picked this up yesterday evening. Its an 87 325ia with 210k miles and supposedly a few broken rocker arms. After three motors in my eta and now its finally running reliably I thought it would be a shame to pull out the 2.7 just to swap in the M30. Plus the body was extremely beat up so it wouldn't have looked that great anyway no matter how much i tried. I bought it from an older lady for 590 who inherited it from her mother when she passed so its a one family car. Overall it has been well taken care of considering the non-enthusiast female owners. I will be swapping in all my "cool" parts from my eta and bringing it back to stock while putting them in this car. Once I start collecting parts from my M30 swap I will be pulling out the entire drivetrain so let me know if you want an auto tranny ;)

Ya well im hoping to get this car ready for this fall haha. I like the cardinal but i finally got used to the blue in the other car so im going to swap the seats and door cars into this one. I wanna use my sport seats too and i dont think they will look as good with the red.

No i dont really want to dig that deep into that car. At least not until i think I can to an absolutely perfect job. Plus it is already heavy enough so if i ever planned to swap it I would do an aluminum M52. Not to mention me and Darins verts already look very similar without having the same motor lol.

Its overall pretty good and completely unmolested but there is some rust by the drivers taillight :(

That will be the first thing I tackle on this car as well as removing some sap from sitting under a tree the last few months before I bought it.
