Updates on my Lazur Blue 318iS!

    Hey everyone,

As promised, here are some updates on my car. Since you saw it last, I have had a few things done. I have installed a MarkD Chip, a Z4 3.0i SSK, RobS shift + handbrake boots and have had the windows lightly tinted at 35% all round.

I also have an M-Tech II steering wheel and new "iS" lip to be installed some time soon as well. Next on the cards is a full suspension overhaul and brake upgrade which should both be done during the next few months when I find some more time to complete them properly.

For now, here are two pics that I took today just after a fresh wash!

Let me know what you think!

    Thanks,

    Pete

I love the blue. Car looks clean. Can you get some better pics, better lighting to show off the blue? How bout the interior?

      Sweet.

Never been a fan of those plate fillers though.

That tint sets it off very nicely!
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Thanks for the kind words guys,

While I'd love to take some more better quality pics of the interior and better lighted body shots, my digital camera is only 2.0MP (a couple of years old) and so the photos just don't do it justice any bigger and the quality that I want just isn't there.

Either way, hopefully I'll buy a new one soon and then get some nicer ones for you all to see!

Any other comments are more than welcome!

          Thanks,

          Pete

Looks very clean. I don't really like the mudflaps tho, as if we need them in Australia :)

About the MarkD chip... have you had any problems getting it to work with your Aus spec car? (i dunno if there's actually any difference....)

Yeah the muflaps will come off soon and I'll also hopefully buy a black euro plate filler instead of the red one. As for the chip, it was a direct swap without any worries. While I have had the chip, I've used between 96-98 RON Octane fuel and it has been fine! Definately a great upgrade and I really recommend it to anyone looking for a little more out of their M42!!!

Those pictures are not 2.0MP. In fact, they are not even 1.0MP. I think if you cranked up the resolution on your camera, and then align your shot with the sun behind you instead of in front of you, the results will be much better.

Alright, I'll see if I can try that this weekend if I get a chance, thanks for the tips,
