Euro-Trash (thread back from the dead)

This is my euro-trash project car.

    Current pics...

this is how she was when I got her.

Picked up the car for $480 about a month ago, ran great but had all kinds of little shit that needed fixing.

For instance I had to completely reassemble the dash and center console, rewire the wipers and horn, fix the head and taillights...shit like that.

The PO decided to rattlecan it flat black because the stock paint was peeling. So that also entailed me spending several hours scraping the over-spray off all the glass since he didn't mask off ANYTHING!

Well, so far I have cleaned up the interior where its spotless,

added some tan leather sport seats, front and back

painted the stock bottlecap wheels. They were in horrible condition so might as well make em look decent till I can get my good wheels.

    Tucked the bumpers

added a Zender front vallance and side skirts

    French style yellow highbeams

    euro style grills

    Blacked out Kidney Grills

    true euro plate

    custom roof rack

    Racing Dynamics springs

    Tokico HP Struts

    Wink 5 panel mirror

and I am going to be stripping the paint, doing the body in a professional coat of flat black, making a skidplate and putting some E90 drophats on it.

And since the PO painted over the rear roundel I will be changing out to all B&W BMW emblems.

    And as she sits now...

I CLEARLY know this is not everyones cup of tea and if it had been a nicely painted car when I bought it I would have gone a different route. But I have always loved this style so I figured why not and so far I love it!

I am probably going to be getting some Borbet type-A knock offs in a flat black at some point. Not decided 100% yet.

Ya, I want some for sure! But I have some maintenance issues that have to come first. Control arms, Timing belt, stuff like that.

Nope, I got this one because of the price right after my Celica blew an engine...lol.

And thats part of the fun! Having a car like this and taking it to VIP parking at a 4-star $50+ a plate restaurant or the best clubs in town!

Hell, tomorrow night the is a private party at one of the midwest's biggest custom wheel shop. I have already arranged with the owner for VIP parking so I will have it lined up with cars like Bently's, Lambo's, Rolls Royce's...ect! Should be pretty great! lol

I can dig it up to the rear wheel arch... Needs spacers, but ultimately bigger wheels. Otherwise, I'd drive it

Figured some one else would fill in the blanks...Spastic's car.

And by do something different I meant do something new.

Oh, gotcha, I just know him by his real name. Ya, it has been a bit of inspiration but I was planning to go this route before I ever saw photos of his car. It wasn't until I started searching "rusted hoods" that I came across it.
