This might be harsh but the attention you are receiving is indeed negative. There isn't a single aesthetically pleasing aspect to your car so please don't try to argue that it's not true. If in some strange way the clashing junk on your car is appealing to you please don't talk about our "closed-mindedness" and try to make us accept it.

I don't remember where I found it. I was looking for pics of bottlecaps with spacers and when I stumbled across it I thought to myself "oh that's sick" and saved it.

OP your car can look really cool. I think you need some 9" wide wheels and some slight negative camber to pull it off. Something with a bronze finish perhaps? I like different.

How am I not restoring it? Because its not to your fashion?

I already stated that I had to completely reassemble the interior and dash, put leather sport sets on it, am giving the suspension a complete overhaul. Fix a TON of little things, headlights, tail lights, horn, interior lights, turn signals, and stereo next. I already stated it is going to be completely stripped and painted with a professional coat of Valspar flat black along with any body rust removed. You may consider this to be the easy way out but there is more work going into this restoring this car than most peoples in here.

Most likley it will end up with coilovers. When I have a little more time and money and after I do a little more research I plan to raise the engine a bit and add a skidplate so I can drop it down quite a bit more.

And no, I love my Zender!! ;)

I assume you mean the suspension? If so just the Racing Dynamics springs, Tokico HP struts, no spring pads and a zender valance that sits really low!

And not really, just got to keep an eye on it. Rust will form on the surface of the metal, if you notice it starts digging into the metal you just lightly sand it off and it will start back on the surface. It would take quite a while for it to eat through it. But also, hoods are easily available and cheap.

Lol...I guess its a theory huh? I'll have to start drooling a lil next time and see if I get a weird look or not!

Why is it negative attention? Tons and tons of people absolutely love the car. I have had notes left on the car, people stopping to talk about it in parking lots and gas stations....ect.

This was my old car that I built, an upper 500hp swapped beast, and I didn't get as many people wanting to talk about it in the two years I had it as the couple weeks I have had this together.

And like I said before, I just got the car recently and am doing this all as fast as I can, it will get the killer rims and stanced out soon enough. And again, had it been a clean car to begin with I would have kept it that way.

this is kind of the direction im looking at with my car. perhaps not to this extent, but my paint is certainly subpar and im not going to mess with it.

like im on going to intentionally try to make the car look shitty, everything is going to be as it should, the paint is just going to be hella chippy and such.

i think the euro-trash look can look tits, but i think some people just go way to far.
