Picked up a new ride...... **Update: 07/2011**
Just thought I'd share, since a few people asked and z31maniac seems to have started a trend.. ;)
I went a similar route, but chose to stay german. So far, I ABSOLUTELY love this thing. It's a blast to drive, it's unique, has character, is a back to basics bmw that has so far been a real head turner and conversation starter. I <3 it, and to be honest I still have yet to miss my s52 e30.

New pic from about a month ago - I've since added a front lip/splitter.
All uploaded via phone lmk if the quality is poor and I will fix it. Will try to find one that shows the lip now.
Just thought I'd update the thread for the OG r3v'ers and for personal documentation of progress...
Only mods so far are shorty antennae, dans decal reflector covers, now has h&r springs, linea corse LM reps, rogue engineering diablo exhaust, zhp knob, and Mstache front lip (not pictured).. No other immediate mod plans, just going to enjoy driving her. Perhaps coils next year and maybe a blower when the car is paid off one day ha
