I am travelling to Turkey, with two layovers, one is Helsinki.

I arrive there Tuesday Jun 1 at 22:30 and my next flight leaves at 09:00. So, i have time to go out. Too bad its a Tuesday night and not a weekend.

Today I removed towing hitch and I can say the car looks way better now! Got to take some pictures when it stops raining.

And tried to shadowline it also. But unfortunately I didin't have enough blackout tape.. So I only taped trims below windows. Looks kinda funny now. :D

Brewcity11: Could u bring me some tape when u come to Finland? ;) I can PM u information about my tape..


Tomorrow I'm going to work with rear fenders so I can take at least one person to back seat. :)

So much work to do.

Last weekend I changed front trailing arm rear bushes to powerflex and probably on next weekend gonna change rear subframe bushes also to powerflex polyurethane.

Then in end of july (on my holiday) have to get rid of rust and paint whole car.


I'm waiting so much the biggest BMW events in Finland, Bimmerparty at 9th to 11th july.

IMO those BMW emblems look way better than original Borbet. Everybody has them..

Today I got non-euro plates.. In Finland euro plates (those blue tags in left side of registeration plate) came to new cars in 2001, but if u re-register your car u get euro-plates. They don't look good in '88 BMW, so had to order new non-euros. :) tomorrow trying to take pic of them.

Just waiting my summer holiday. Bimmerparty and after that a week in sunny Greece. last week of holiday is dedicated to this car. Needs some work with rust and fresh paint.
