Which E30 should I LS1 swap? Red or White?

My LS1 walks all over my old S52, and that was no ordinary S52. 12.5:1 pistons, VAC race cams, solid lifters, tuned for 104, etc, making around 300 at the wheels... My LS1 has worked heads and a cam, everything else is pretty much stock and it destroys my old setup in every aspect.

Oh, and to the OP, go with Red. :-D

for sure the red one is more aesthetically pleasing.... it aint perfect though(has its dents and dings). id be REAL proud to show off either car with an ls1 in it. I think im deciding on red slowly but surely. thanks for the reinforcements.

Keep the white one stock for fuel mileage! You wont regret it when the LS1 is eating premium.
