Not crazy about em', but new pics of 318is

Well if you don't know, here's a quick rundown:

Sold the car back in November to Turk & L at Guten for Buddy (z31maniac) DD project. Once I sold it, I knew that I may have made a mistake and knew I was gonna have another E30 in my life soon. Well I built another project, enjoyed that some, but knew I wanted to sell for another E30. I made a post looking for someone who wanted to either trade their E30 or interested in selling. Buddy got a hold of me and said he was looking to sell the car. I thought about it, wondering if I should start from stratch with a new car or not. Well after a bunch of calls, texts, and a battle with e30Rob (sorry dude), I flew out to Oklahoma and drover her back to VA (20 hours straight through)

I've had it back since early April, was thinking about what wheels I wanted. I loved my Keskin's I had, but wasn't too crazy about 16x9's up front, so I picked up a set of staggered KT1's. I think I liked the 16x9's up front more then the 7.5", the fronts just don't have the lip they need to match the back. Another thing was the black center caps, I didn't know they were gonna come with them. I called Keskin and asked them what the deal was, they said that these are "special edition" caps. I thought it was kinda gay because the "special edition" caps look like hell on the wheels, but it's better then no caps at all (tried that). I'm on the fence about keeping them, I'm sure they'd look better with silver caps, but they're on backorder until the end of June. So if your interested in my wheels and wanna trade a 16" setup, PM me.

Anywho, here's some new pics of the car since I've owned it. I haven't done much to it except the rack, wheels and smoked the hella's.

    Tell me what you think.

        I'd kiss it.

I think all the black accents are working very well.
Looks good, can't think of anything I'd change. Maybe a tad lower in front? lol. Everyone says that though.

Yeah that's a given with anything on here.

I have stock length Koni's, I've been thinking of going with short bodies, but then I'll be tempted to lay it out, and that would mean my skid plate would be like 1" off the ground.

            Sold.......again.

I'd definitely paint the mirrors and spoiler body color. Makes the car look WAY better. Too much contrast makes cars look old/cheap.

haha, thanks dude. I always get compliments on the plate though.

Also, just went outside and dropped it down another 1/4", you can barely tell, lol.

I don't think there's a way to make a staggered setup look better then a square setup.

                    Sold.......again.

I like it a lot, amazing story on how you sold it and bought it back, the car looks great

didn't Turk put the dynamat in it, did it make the car quieter?

Thanks man, yeah Turk lined the whole interior and trunk area in Dynamat. To be honest, I can't tell because the old diff was LOUD. So between the new diff and dynamat, it's definitely quieter, but I don't know if it's the new diff or the actual dynamat.

Here's the funny thing about the whole selling/buying thing. Before I sold it, my original plans were to install new bushings in the rear subframe, new TA bushings, new diff, and redo the interior, whether redoing the tan, or changing the color all together. I never got around to it because I sold the car

Well when I sold the car to Guten, they took care of all that stuff, I mean EXACTLY what I wanted to do, it was crazy, almost like it was destiny that it happened.

Lol, sorry, I got a little soft and gay on the situation.

                          Sold.......again.

Well it looks great. need to come down in the front. As for the staggered setup i personally like them better than a squared setup. In my opinion the rears should have more lip than the fronts.
