Interesting seeing an Mtech 1 kit on a late model but cool nonetheless.

yeah id like to know the story behind it whether it was factory or someone threw it on as an afterthought. We get some weird stuff here in Aus

I would wager it is one of two things... so long as it fits proper, which it seems to from the pics.

either the rear panel was replaced.

or its a vert bumper and rear valence. I would lean towards this option.

Either way, I like. Funny as I am building my tech1 sedan and was just thinking about swapping tail sections for a late model for better lights in the back.

I wish late models bumpers had license plate backing like those.

Sweet! I've never seen a late model with Tech1.. an interesting combination.

As far as the M20B20 -> M20B25 swap, it's probably cake. I'm by no means experienced in engine swaps, but the blocks are probably the same dimensions, and the wiring harness is likely to be the same. The stock exhaust would probably even work (but you might as well replace it for bonus points). I bet all the mounts would just line up, and it'd nearly be plug 'n play (or about as close to pnp as a swap gets)

Someone else with more knowledge out there?

Low rear arches seals it, was too late last night to think straight. lol

It is a late model. closer pics of where the rear bumper etc meets the wheel well?
